Thames Tennis club has been in existence since 1905 and has five astro courts, located in Brown St, Thames. It is an inclusive club, with strong social and competitive business house competitions, friendly mid-week tennis and with a large group of junior players, many of whom have gone on to the Tennis Waikato Bays Squad.
